Aero AI Keyboard ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Codfather Logic LLP. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our keyboard application.

1. Information We Collect

Text Input Data: To provide AI features (grammar correction, tone adjustment, smart replies, translation), text you type may be sent to our AI service (Claude API by Anthropic) when you explicitly tap an AI action button. We do NOT continuously monitor or record your keystrokes.

Transliteration Data: English-to-Indian language transliteration is processed locally on your device and via Google Input Tools. We do not store your transliteration history on our servers.

Voice Data: When you use voice input, audio is processed by your device's speech recognition service (Google Speech Services on Android, Apple Speech on iOS). We do not record or store audio.

Camera/OCR Data: Images captured for OCR text extraction are processed locally on your device using Google ML Kit. Images are not uploaded to any server.

Payment Data: Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We do not store your card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank details. We only receive confirmation of payment status.

Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage statistics (feature usage counts, language preferences) to improve our product. This data is not linked to your identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide AI-powered keyboard features (grammar, tone, reply, translate)
To improve transliteration quality and suggestion accuracy
To process subscription payments
To improve our product and user experience

3. Data Storage

Local storage: Keyboard settings, theme preferences, transliteration cache, and learned words are stored locally on your device.
Cloud processing: AI features send text to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data. Text is not stored after processing.
No user accounts required: Basic keyboard and transliteration features work without any account or data collection.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted API communications (HTTPS/TLS), secure local storage, and we never store sensitive data on our servers. API keys are stored securely on device using platform-specific secure storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain).

6. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights

You can clear all locally stored data by uninstalling the app
You can disable AI features and use only offline transliteration
You can request deletion of any data we may have by contacting us

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
